Be on the lookout for the new and improved website coming soon from Yarmouth, Wilsdon & Calfo law firm. We spent a couple of days at their fantastic (read hip and modern) downtown location getting fresh imagery for the new site, currently under construction at Eben Design in conjunction with JMI Marketing. Go team!
We focused on getting “custom stock” images and environmental portraits of all the lawyers - and had a blast doing it. Check out some of the shots :
Kathy Casey - Celebrity Chef

Kathy is really quite amazing-I didn’t realize until this shoot that she was one of the first female TV Celebrity Chefs. She was a true catalyst, paving the way for the current celebrity chef movement and all the women who’ve come up in the industry after her. Plus she’s published several cookbooks, started the very successful Dish D’Lish and is constantly coming up with new ideas. She is a one woman show we all should check out!
Kathy Casey’s shoot was really fun. She came prepared with great things to play with. Thank you Kathy for your whole hearted support. As a woman it’s really cool when we support each other in our endeavors. Your enthusiasm and support for the project is definitely appreciated!

John Peterson - Pioneer of Organic Farming

“I don’t want to be a star; I just want to drive my tractor.” - John Peterson
Farmer John Peterson & Robert Siegel joined up to put together one of the best documentaries I’ve ever seen - called “The Real Dirt on Farmer John”. The documentary is amazing in the fact that it has 35 years of film footage, covering most of John’s life. The story tells the tale of John’s family farm and it’s story of being lost and then reformed and transformed into one of the first CSA farms (Community Supported Agriculture). John has become an iconic figure in the green movement - just try mentioning his name at your local farmer’s market and you’ll see both recognition at his name and a sort of spiritual reverence.
John himself is such an intersting, quirky and down to earth person, and made the shoot a really fun experience - he wore his farmer’s hat & feather boa and we even had veggies on hand!

Hot Off The Press! The New Sea-Tac Ads

Last August we did a multi day shoot at Seattle Tacoma International Airport for their new 2009 advertising campaign. Here are some fun samples of the ads from the Yvonne San Luis Design team, that will begin appearing in The Seattle Times, Sunset Magazine, Alaska Airlines in flight magazine and around the airport.
